Horseback Riding in Lake Mburo National park provides a rejuvenating retreat. There is a stable of 14 horses that are well cared for and look healthy. They are friendly and get along well with different travelers easily. This makes Horseback Riding adventure also doable for kids. Imagine the beautiful site of you and your loved ones being followed by wild but peaceful herbivores as you trot, like zebras, toppis', warthogs.

Horseback Riding is an awe-inspiring experience. But that's only half the story. The guides are good at anticipating people's needs. They hence chose the horses according to your level of experience. Even more exciting, the adventures as there are no cats to spoil the fun. You will canter among zebras and elands as they graze in the open savannah.

There further you ride, the better the views you will get. This includes a view of rolling hills with thriving plantations of bananas and the blue lake after which the park is named. As the sun rises at dawn, it changes the colours of the savannah from grey to pink to clear and blue. It is very splendid and exciting to watch from the back of a horse.

If you are still living under a rock, Lake Mburo is a small but great National Park! There seems to be wildlife at every corner. Sheer numbers of zebras, impalas, topis, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, defassa waterbucks, elands, hyenas and hippos.
One of the beauties of the trip to this park is that it is en-route Equator. This gives you an opportunity experience what it feels like to be on both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.

No other park in Uganda has a big concentration of zebras like Mburo, over 10,000 of them. One of the things that will make the horseback safari really special here is encountering the promising population of Rothschild giraffes, over 15 of them. They were recently located here from Murchison fall's national park following the Mburo’s extinction of giraffes.
